Ok Then...

So it's pretty obvious that I am the worst when it comes to updating my blog.   Not much new to report anyway, I have however decided that the year 2009 will go down as the WORST YEAR in history!   Seriously...   It would just be much kinder to banish it from my memory altogether.   Lessons learned: 1. Be happy with whatever you get, even if it's not much.   2. As far as things you're not getting, get used to it, but if you do get them, be happy, because you never know when someone is going to yank the rug out.   3. Want for nothing and ask for nothing, that way you'll never be let down.   4. If someone is generous with their time, don't ask for more time, because the time you are already getting will be cut down to a 1/4, and you will never know when you will actually be awarded the time you are still allowed to have lol.   5. Let's face it, the job market sucks, I don't care how much you hate your job, show up, smile, act like you love it, and every day be thankful you still have it!   6. Don't make plans, and don't look forward to things, that kind of planning and thinking will always backfire, better to live for the moment, and yes, be happy with what you're getting! (I am sensing there is a theme here!)   7. Holidays, Birthdays, Special Occasions all have one thing in common, they are nothing more than just another date on a calendar, there's nothing special about them, they serve as reminders of how bad things are right now, you'd do better to just create your own holidays and be happy with them.   8. Smile, and don't let it get to you, because when you do it will only make things worse.   9. Now would not be a bad time to work on your memory, as we get older the memory space you have left starts to tank, invest in post-it notes.   and 10. Don't ever let a false sense of security take over, especially if you are deluded enough to believe that things might actually be getting better.   Best to remember the other shoe will drop eventually!   As far as the theme goes, be happy with what you have, be thankful for what you have, and if you're in love, well relish in it.   3 factors, that if your year has sucked as bad as mine, might make things a little better.   Stop dwelling on the negative, move forward, and enjoy your life, a small philosophy that's pretty hard to screw up, even if you have a talent for screwing everything up!

Outstanding!

So I gave up on blogging for a while...   But I think I am back!   Well at least for today!   There is nothing new to catch up on, well, a few things...  Bush is ready to say goodbye, Obama is on his way in, the weather has sucked balls immensely a few times already, but we may be on an upswing because the sun is out and it is a t-shirt worthy 43 degrees today!   2009 is proving to be an interesting year thus far, I haven't yet decided if I am looking forward to what the rest of this year has in store for me!   I'll let you know.
